Loft flooring

250 mm raised timber framing

Directly onto suitable existing joists

On 25 mm timber battens

Squashing mineral wool insulation reduces its effectiveness. A raised floor creates storage space above the insulation while preserving its depth.

Tongue-and-groove chipboard flooring with materials and professional installation included. The 250 mm raised system is designed to maintain existing insulation depth. Direct-to-joist and low-profile batten installations are subject to suitability.

The floor is designed for suitable storage use. We check access, insulation and structural suitability before agreeing the work.

Oman loft ladders

Termo PS · 26 mm insulated hatch

Extra · 46 mm insulated hatch

Polar · 86 mm insulated hatch

Folding timber ladders, supplied and professionally installed. Termo PS includes a 3-year manufacturer and fitter warranty; Extra and Polar include a 5-year warranty. Extra provides upgraded hatch insulation and Polar has a high-performance insulated access hatch.

Opening sizes vary by model. See our ladder size chart. Termo PS, Extra and Polar suit ceiling heights up to 2.8 m. Above 2.8 m, up to 3.3 m, a special long ladder is required and quoted individually. Other sizes and specialist ladders may be available on request.

Installation requires a suitable loft opening. New openings, structural alterations, plastering and extra finishing are quoted separately.

Insulation top-ups

100 mm Knauf Earthwool

200 mm Knauf Earthwool

Supplied and installed as an additional layer where appropriate, helping reduce heat loss through the ceiling. Can be installed alongside raised flooring.

Standard top-up installations only. Existing insulation removal, unusual access and additional preparation are quoted separately.

Loft lighting

6ft LED batten light with switch

Supplied and installed to improve visibility in your attic. Electrical work is subject to the suitability of the existing installation and any additional work required.

Hatches & access alterationsBy quotation

Replacement hatches, enlarged or new openings, bespoke doors, framing, finishing, plastering, architrave and specialist access solutions are quoted individually.

Loft clearance & removalBy quotation

Loft rubbish removal, old boards and flooring platform removal, preparation for new installations and general clearance. Water tank and platform removal may be available where suitable.

Quoted according to waste volume, access and disposal requirements.

Bespoke loft servicesBy quotation

Existing insulation repositioning and organisation; bespoke storage platforms; small timber alterations; hatch plastering and finishing; electrical alterations associated with loft installations; specialist access and combination projects.

Our booster spring helps support the folding sections, reducing the effort needed to lift and lower your loft ladder.

Fits suitable 60 cm and 70 cm wide, three-section wooden loft ladders. We check compatibility before fitting.

Available as an upgrade with a new ladder installation.
